What we do
Doorstep Library is a community-focused literacy charity dedicated to bringing the magic of books and the joy of reading directly into the homes of children across London and beyond who need our support. For us the ‘happy ever after’ is when we know the power of literacy and the joy of reading for pleasure are helping a child change their own story for good.

Doorstep Library currently runs 15 projects across 5 London boroughs:
- Camden
- Hammersmith and Fulham
- Lambeth
- Westminster
- Kensington and Chelsea
We also offer Online Reading Sessions for those families who fall outside our current postcodes.
World’s End
Our World’s End project sits within the borough of Kensington & Chelsea. This is the second project we have opened in the borough, sharing books and reading with children aged 0-11.

Tulse Hill 1
Our Tulse Hill 1 project sit within the borough of Lambeth, and is a short walk from Tulse Hill and Brixton stations. We currently operate 3 projects in the borough, sharing books and reading with children aged 0-3.
