Naomi Kennedy

Naomi coordinates Doorstep Library’s projects in Hammersmith and Fulham, supporting teams of volunteers to share the fun of books and reading with children across the borough and online. Naomi studied English literature and philosophy and worked as an English teacher before joining Doorstep in 2021. While teaching, she saw how important a love of reading is for young people’s success in school and in life. She is driven by the desire to give every child access to the joys and empowerment that reading brings.

Naomi’s favourite children’s book is: ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak.

Contact Naomi if you’d like to get involved in our Hammersmith and Fulham hub.

We urgently need people with a passion for reading to join our volunteer team and support the number of families we have on our books waiting to be paired with a Reading Volunteer.
