Making a donation online is the easiest way to support our work. Supporting us means supporting over 250 families who benefit from our weekly programmes at home, whether delivered online or in person. We currently run projects in Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and Lambeth, and we will soon be reaching out to families in Camden. You can support our vital work in these areas by making a donation.
Children who face challenges to learning at home need us now more than ever to prevent them from falling behind. Together, we can tackle the growing problem of educational inequality but we need to start now.
Even one extra hour a week of instructional time can significantly raise educational achievement (Institute of Fiscal Studies, 2020). By encouraging parents and children to read for pleasure together, children develop essential literacy skills, confidence and a love of reading to help them now and in the future.
We are incredibly grateful for the help of schools, companies and individuals who support our work through partnerships and organising their own fundraisers. Visit our community and corporate pages if you are interested in getting involved.
Doorstep Library is privileged to receive support from a wide number of organisations. To see a full list of our supporters click here.
